Notice is hereby given to the residents of the Housing Authority of Union, the citizens of Union, South Carolina, and all persons interested, that the Housing Authority is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Section 511 of the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998 Interim Rule, and other HUD regulations and requirements to submit a Public Housing Annual Agency Plan and Five-Year CFP Action Plan.

The 2023 Annual Agency Plan provides details about the Housing Authority's immediate operations, program participants, programs and services, and the Housing Authority's strategy for handling operational concerns, residents' concerns and needs, programs. and services.

The 2023-2027 Five-Year CFP Action Plan lists capital improvements, development activities and related line items proposed for Housing Authority dwellings and properties for the next five fiscal years.

Prior to submission of the 2023 Annual Agency Plan and Five-Year CFP Action Plan to HUD, we are soliciting comments and suggestions. We will be conducting a Public Hearing on September 12, 2022 at 5:00 p.m., at 20 I Porter Street, Union South Carolina, to discuss the proposed plans. All residents are invited to attend.
